How do you break the Nerd?

So those who know me, know my husband is a huge nerd. He looks like the average nerd, is fluent in the language nerd and yes every time I am around his friends I feel like I am in an episode of the Big Bang Theory.

Chris and I go with friend to go see the great and powerful Oz. It was a great movie, well done. If you are to see  it be sure that you see it in 3D. There was movement, detail, and there was everything that you wanted in a 3D movie.

There is a certain way you must make a movie. It requires exaggeration in character features and textures, almost giving it a cartoon like quality.Chris and I were on the way home and we were discussing how I thought that The Hobbit was flat and seemed a little over done. There was something familiar about the way the movie that was made that bugged me and then another movie came in mind.

Yes, Yes people. For about 10 minutes I was told that I was not going to be getting laid All because of one little phrase. The Hobbit was "Lucas-ed". It was over done. Instead of using good make up like Lucas did in the first trilogy he over used the CGI and too much like a cartoon. The sad thing to my husband is that I was right. 

I ruined my husbands beloved Tolkien and Peter Jackson movies.
